My journey with photography began back in middle school, when I first discovered film cameras and the darkroom. I fell in love instantly. What started as a hobby grew into a passion, and about four years ago I took the leap into professional photography — one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I value time, adventure, and genuine connection, and this work gives me all three. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m often supporting others in my role as a therapist — another way I get to witness and honor people’s stories.

As a mother to a wonderful daughter (that’s us on an adventure in Galway, Ireland) and two playful cavapoo pups, I understand just how precious and fleeting life’s moments can be. That’s why I’m so passionate about documentary newborn photography in Washington DC — preserving authentic memories of your baby and family in a way that feels honest and timeless.
I’ve always carried a book close by, and I have an insatiable love for travel. Born and raised in New Jersey, I bring curiosity, warmth, and openness into both my life and my work as a Washington DC documentary newborn photographer. My favorite place to recharge is near water, soaking in its calming beauty.
In addition to photography, I also work as a therapist. The skills I’ve gained through this work — keen observation, deep listening, and sensitivity to connection — naturally flow into my photography. They allow me to notice and preserve those meaningful, fleeting interactions that make your newborn and family story truly your own.
During your maternity or newborn session, my goal is for you to feel completely at ease. I take a relaxed, documentary approach — staying in the background while you simply enjoy time together as a couple or family. There’s no pressure to pose or perform; instead, I gently observe and capture the real, raw, connected moments that unfold naturally.
